A Halloween Wedding to bring Shivers Down Your Spine

Who doesn’t love a Halloween wedding?
This time of year always brought an exciting spook factor for me… with the leaves changing, temperatures dropping and darkness creeping in. Yet, there’s also an incredibly romantic vibe to the fall; so we decided to combine that spook with romance in this stylized Halloween wedding.
This shoot took careful planning and specific selection of décor, location, models, and team members. Gramercy Mansion generously and happily granted us permission to use their amazing venue to photograph these images. The carriage house, string lights and grounds opened up so many options for us to shoot this before the leaves changed.
Plus, some of the best Maryland wedding professionals united to create this incredible spread. You’ll see them all mentioned below, and I couldn’t be more grateful to everyone.

A capture of the printed magazine – two of the six pages – in our center spread!
Eleven Courses Catering created this incredible dish called Amuse Buche – a medley of roasted pistachio, goat cheese, panna cotta, real honeycomb, micro greens and aged balsamic!

List of Vendors:

I wanted the tuxedo to push the boundaries a bit, so we went with the velvet jacket with velvet bow tie, along with a black shirt for a black on black look. Brett pulled it off perfectly. Special thanks to Tuxedo House!
Jeanne Graham, of Blue Sage Floral, included real flesh eating lilies within this bouquet (see the pink veiny looking flowers?).
Another dish that’s just too stunning to eat! Eleven Courses’ “Harvest Garden” dish, which includes baby radishes, butternut squash and eggplant accompanied by a pumpkin puree and pumpernickel dust.
Megan Horst, of Beautiful by Megan Horst, absolutely blew us away with her makeup and hair design. We had a vision in mind, and her work couldn’t be more on target.
The black widow awaiting her next victim on Jason Hisley’s terrifying black on black geode cake.
